Meritorious Promotions

What is a Meritorious Promotion? A Meritorious Promotion is a one of one thing per Deputy which allows them to proceed to the rank above bypassing the biweekly promotion periods. If a Deputy - Master Sergeant is seen by a Supervisor exceeding their duties and responsibilities they could be recommended for a Meritorious Promotion. Supervisors can recommend an individual for a Meritorious Promotion by simply bringing up the topic in #bcso-supervisor and discussing it upon the team, Chain of Command will then discuss this topic with the Heads and the final decision will be made. Recipients of a Meritorious Promotion will have their own message congratulating them in #bcso-announcements. The recipients can be promoted twice in one promotion period but are still expected to meet the requirements.
